Howdy folks and welcome to the Coolguy Island bar refurbishment page. I have finally decided to do that bar overhaul that I have been wanting to do since the day that I built it. My actual plan was to put the bar into my basement then finish the Tikiness of the room. That was 6 years ago. I finally got up the gumption fo take the plunge and really make the Tikibar of my dreams into a reality.

It was a sad day but with the help of some Segrams 7 I finally gutted all the "temporary" decor from the room in anticipation of finally installing my tiki fringe crown moulding. It was a little bittersweet because I cleaned up the whole place the week before for a small party that we had for New Years. It was in great shape, why trash it again. BUt now it is gone. I really didn't get a chance to do much else today. We lost power for about 45 minutes and then I had go out to dinner. Hopefully I will accomplish more tomorrow.
