Entry for January 8, 2007 - The Lights
As I was strolling past the chair on which I placed all my lights after I removed them from the ceiling, I looked down and noticed how colorful and pretty that this diverse collection of lights look all piled up. Since day one the lighting in the bar has all been provided by miles of chili pepper, parrot, fish, etc. lights. Over time, lots of them have burnt out. It is going to be quite a job finding and replacing the burnt out light. You know how it goes. One light burns out and then they all go out.
The new bar will have some advanced lighting techniques as well as the current tiki lights put back up. In addition there will be some new additions. I have some Lobsters that I got from northwoods outlet as well as some hula girls. The coolest new addition will be the recessed blue rope lighting that I will discuss in a later post.
